Apple presented its latest quarterly report on Thursday evening and, as expected, it was a somewhat weaker result than for the corresponding period a year earlier.

The turnover during the last quarter of 2022 amounted to 117.2 billion dollars (corresponding to 1,216 billion kroner), which can be compared with 123.9 billion dollars a year ago. This is therefore a reduction of 5 percent.

The net profit, on the other hand, is 30 billion dollars, which corresponds to 311 billion Swedish kronor.

In this context, it can be pointed out that the fourth quarter of 2021 was the strongest in Apple’s history, so the bar was set at an extremely high level.

Divided by segment, iPhone accounts for $65.8 billion, Mac for $7.7 billion, iPad for $9.4 billion, remaining hardware for $13.5 billion and services for $20.8 billion. As for the latter segment, it is a new top listing.

– During the December quarter, we reached a major milestone and are happy to report that we now have more than 2 billion active units, says the company’s CEO Tim Cook in a press release.
