Sennheiser CX Plus price
In Sennheiser’s catalog of wireless headphones, the “CX True Wireless” range corresponds to the entry-level category. Yes, an entry-level at $180 USD, but the headphones are definitely much more affordable than the “Momentum True Wireless” series, whose Momentum TW 2 started with a price tag of $350 USD.
The flagship of the Momentum series differs from the other models in the lack of active noise cancellation in the cheaper models. The Sennheiser CX Plus True Wireless closes this technological gap by integrating the aforementioned ANC.
Sennheiser CX Plus specs
ANC is another important feature of the Sennheiser CX Plus TWS. The two CX versions before it solely provide passive noise isolation. Ambient sound mode, or Transparent Hearing as Sennheiser calls it, is also available on the CX Plus. Previously, the function was not accessible on the CX series earphones. Only the Momentum True Wireless 2 has active noise cancellation and Transparent Hearing.
Ambient sound mode, often known as transparent hearing mode, allows noise from the outside environment to flow through the microphones. It makes use of Sennheiser’s TrueResponse transducer, which delivers “audiophile technology” to “every day” earbuds, according to the company. For splash resistance, the earphones are certified IPX4.
Although the business has a good track record when it comes to sound, we’ll have to double-check those promises to make sure they’re accurate this time. Sennheiser claims a total listening duration of up to 24 hours: eight hours on the buds and two more charges in the lawsuit.
