Scarlett Johansson is moved to remember her visit to Jeremy Renner after the accident: “I didn’t know if I was going to see him again”

Last month, his MCU teammates and friends, Scarlett Johansson and Chris Evans, They paid him a visit in Los Angeles to see first-hand the progress in his state of health. A small meeting on the part of the Avengers that went unnoticed until the actress recalled it emotionally in an interview with Variety.

“Honestly, I was overjoyed to see him. I didn’t know if I was going to see him again,” Johansson confesses. “And not only see him, but to see his progress and the magnificent state of mind he was in. He is a very spiritual person, very tender; she shows in his work. He is very deep. I was happy to see him full of life, radiant, and being very funny. We laughed a lot.”

Chris Evans confirms in the same publication the cheerful tone that the meeting with his convalescent friend had. “There were no tears. Lots of laughter, smiles and hugs,” says the actor. “Jeremy is good at taking a potentially tragic situation like this and turning it into something inspiring.”

When Jeremy Renner had his snowplow accident, Scarlett Johansson was in the middle of filming her next movie, Project Artemis, a sci-fi romantic comedy in which she stars opposite Channing Tatum. The news about her friend shocked her a lot (“She was very upset”), but as the prognosis became favorable, she allowed herself to joke.
