Samsung reveals it has sold more than 30 million soundbars in 14 years

Data from a report recently released by Samsung shows that the South Korean giant sold around 30 million soundbars between 2008 and March 2022, a period that proved profitable for the company in the audio segment through the company’s constant investments in improving of devices.

From the improvements in its projects, the company managed to rise to the leadership of this market in 2014, maintaining the position for eight consecutive years thanks to the expressive number of units sold all over the world, including Europe, since Samsung sells numerous models of soundbars in the Europeian market.

The first model launched by Samsung in this category was the HT-X810 soundbar, a device that brought countless attractions to users who until then did not have much competition in audio. After its debut, the company began to invest heavily in this product line, which immediately proved to be attractive.

In the following years the company improved its products and six years after entering this market managed to overcome rivals and rise to the top. This year the company launched several new soundbars from the 2022 line that bring improved design and a lot of sound power, such as the HW-Q990B and HW-Q990B devices.
