Through a press release sent to reporters today, Samsung confirmed that the latter Galaxy Unpacked this year will be held at the end of July in Seoul, at the Samseong-dong COEX.
According to the Korean giant, the chosen location is perfect because it offers the world the unique opportunity to experience the fascinating blend of past, present and future that defines Seoul. And, of course, it will be a great opportunity for enthusiasts to take a look at the new ones Galaxy Z Fold5 and Flip5.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold5 and Flip5 arrive earlier than expected
Samsung has confirmed that the event will focus on upcoming foldable devices of the company, although not directly mentioning either Fold5 or Flip5, even if their presence is to say the least obvious.
The other interesting aspect is the date chosen: usually, the second Galaxy Unpacked of the year is held in August. This time it was decided to play in advance and place the debut of the new awaited devices at the end of July.
Talking about what we might expect: Fold5 shouldn’t be a big revolution compared to its predecessoralthough there has been talk of a new hinge design.
Different speech for Flip5for which it is reasonable to expect a clearer change starting with a larger external display: to be clear, a philosophy similar to that of the recently announced Motorola Razr +.
When will the event take place? We don’t have a precise date yet, but there is talk of a day between 26 and 27 July. Further confirmations are awaited.
