At Samsung, we are not only waiting for the new “Galaxy S22” series, but also for the Galaxy S21 FE! A leaker now kindly reveals the dates of the “Galaxy Unpacked” events, at which we should get to see both smartphones.
- Galaxy Unpacked expected for the Galaxy S21 FE release on January 4, 2022
- Galaxy Unpacked for Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 +, and Galaxy S22 Ultra on February 8th
We are currently entering the hot phase before Christmas, but our eyes have long been wandering back to the future. The first launch events are due there relatively quickly after Christmas – at least if the experienced one Leaker Jon Prosser is right. Prosser now commented on Twitter about the release dates of the upcoming Samsung smartphones Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S21 FE!
Galaxy Unpacked events in January and February
Jon Prosser was often right about his leaks in the past. Therefore, the information is quite interesting. As Prosser writes, for the first time on January 4th, everything will revolve around the long-awaited Samsung Galaxy S21 FE. Due to the continuing shortage of components, Samsung was unable to present this model to us earlier. In the meantime, we even had to fear that Samsung would no longer sell this device at all.
If the information is correct, the “Fan Edition” of the Galaxy S21 will be available from January 11th, exactly one week after the launch at Galaxy Unpacked. Almost a month later, on February 8th, the next event awaits us, where the tech giant will conjure up the S22 lineup.
According to the information, all models will be available to pre-order on the same day. The new flagships will actually be available ten days later, on February 18th.
Chip crisis continues
You will remember that the Galaxy S21 series was presented on January 14th, so Samsung is pushing the date a little back with the S22. This is likely to have something to do with the fact that the supply bottlenecks continue. This explains why the S21 FE, which we had been expecting for a long time, will not be available until the beginning of 2022 and the unpacked event for the new flagships will also have to wait longer.
Hopefully, we won’t have to expect any further compromises with Samsung’s upcoming top models. As usual, we will keep you up to date at TechMarkup, both with regard to the confirmation of the leaked dates and the hardware to be expected.
