Today we learn new very interesting details relating to the next folding smartphone from home Samsung. In fact, according to rumors, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 it may have an easily removable battery. Attention, from the leaks it is not clear if it will be possible to remove it to replace it at will (as was done in the past with the Galaxy S2, S3, S4, to be clear) or if it will only be a convenient option for repairers and service centers assistance.

Samsung has been changing its approach to the batteries of its phones for some time. The latest Galaxy S23s are champions of “repairability”, according to what is observed from the various teardowns. To change this accessory from the South Korean flagships, just remove the tab (once the back cover has been removed) and you’re done. We could also see a similar situation with the future Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5. This is reported by a document leaked online in these hours coming directly from the South Korean regulatory agency Safety Korea.
Obviously, the book foldable will have a larger battery, while the clamshell will have a smaller cell. Under the body, however, there will be the new Qualcomm processor, the excellent Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy.
