Samsung Galaxy S23 FE: what do we know today?

We have long learned that Samsung intends to launch a Fan Edition version of its basic flagship that is part of the Galaxy S23 line. It should be called Galaxy S23 FE and should replace the S21 FE released in January 2022. It will be an identical terminal to the basic variant from which it derives but will have small hardware differences. For example, the internal chipset will be Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 (in some markets, while in others we will see the Exynos 2200). Thanks to the benchmark site Geekbench we discover that the device has the model number SM-S711B (but this could be the gadget dedicated to the Korean market); the SM-S711U1 variant could arrive in Europe.

From the benchmark site then, we discover that the device has a motherboard codenamed “taro” and that includes three clocks operating at 2.50 GHz, four at 1.79 GHz and a large one at 3 GHz. The GPU instead is an Adreno 730. In a nutshell, these features fully describe the wonderful Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC that we have known in many smartphones and we have seen under the body of the Galaxy Z Fold and Z Flip of 2022. From Geekbench we then discover that the S23 FE phone will have 8 GB of RAM and will have Android 13. It obtained 1549 and 3179 points in the official scores of the portal.

In related news we point out that the Galaxy S22 Ultra 5G costs only €829.99 on Amazon, shipping included; don’t miss out, supplies may be limited – or worse – the offer may end soon.
