The Galaxy S22 series release date and photos of the Galaxy S22 Ultra have been leaked. As we suspected, Samsung will not be able to meet its initial schedule next year. As for the Galaxy S21 FE, it should make its appearance early in 2022.
As we reported to you a few weeks ago, Samsung should postpone the release of its Galaxy S22 and the other smartphones that make up the series.
A release date and photos for the Galaxy S22
The reputedly reliable leaker Jon Prosser even goes so far as to give an exact date for the marketing of the devices: February 18, 2022, more than a month after that of the Galaxy S21 this year.
The Galaxy S22, S22 Plus, and S22 Ultra presentation conference would take place ten days earlier, on February 8, at 3:00 p.m. Paris time. The opening of pre-orders would follow the same day, in the wake of the event.
The South Korean manufacturer is, like its competitors, facing significant shortages of components that greatly complicate the production of smartphones and most electronic devices. Mass production of the Galaxy S22 has not yet started.
The Galaxy S21 FE is not abandoned
Jon Prosser takes the opportunity to publish two stolen photos of the Galaxy S22 Ultra. These confirm previous leaks and renderings which suggested the disappearance of the imposing photo block on the back. Like the S21 Ultra, the mobile will also be compatible with the S-Pen.
We also learn that the Galaxy S21 FE which was to be released several months ago will indeed be launched on the market. It is expected to be announced on January 4, 2022, for release the following week, January 11, with no pre-order period.
