Samsung is releasing, this Tuesday (14), the June security patch for the Galaxy S20 FE in the LTE version with Snapdragon processor. The news was shared by several users in Australia, Vietnam, Malaysia and the Philippines.
According to those who already had access to the update, it bears the numbering G780GXXU3CVE7 and fixes about 66 vulnerabilities found in Android 12. In addition, the software also delivers some performance improvements for the One UI 4.1 interface.
For now, there are no reports of Brazilians receiving the update. Even so, whoever wants to check its availability, the path is simple:
Settings > Software Update > Download and Install.

Samsung Galaxy S20 FE Snapdragon receives May security package in Brazil
Samsung has started rolling out the May 2022 security patch update for the Galaxy S20 FE with Snapdragon 865 processor — and the initial rollout already includes Brazil, as well as other Latin countries such as Bolivia, Chile, and Paraguay.
The package comes with firmware version G780GXXS3CVD7 and fixes dozens of privacy and security vulnerabilities. The news has not yet arrived for the Exynos 990 version of the Galaxy S20 FE, but the Galaxy S20 FE 5G is also already being updated in some markets.
You can now check for the latest software update and download it by navigating to Settings > Software Update and tapping Download and Install if you haven’t already received a notification. Still manual installation can also be done by downloading the firmware file from a database.
Vale remembers that the Galaxy S20 FE arrived with Android 10, received the update to One UI 3 in 2021, and is already running One UI 4.1 of Android 12 in its latest version.

In early April, Samsung released the latest security patch for the Galaxy S20 FE Snapdragon, but the update was still restricted to a few countries. After updating this phone with One UI 4.1, the South Korean is finally releasing the update with the April 2022 patch for this smartphone in Brazil, now see what changes.
The April 2022 security patch is now available for the Galaxy S20 FE with Snapdragon chip in Brazil and arrives fixing several bugs and vulnerabilities with the G780GXXS3CVC4 version.

While still distributing One UI 4.1 in some countries, Samsung released this Tuesday (12) the April security patch for Galaxy S20 FE Snapdragon. The novelty began to circulate in several Southeast Asian countries.

Additionally, the changelog also cites the presence of minor performance tweaks to Samsung’s proprietary interface, as well as fixes for known bugs.
