The ones you see scattered throughout this article could be the first renders of the Samsung Galaxy Book Pro 2 360 , the South Korean giant’s next convertible laptop. The renders come from the well-known insider OnLeaks in collaboration with Giznext . Color aside, it’s so similar to its predecessor (which we reviewed a few months ago) that it’s even hard to tell one from the other.
Not that it’s a shame, of course: from a purely physical point of view, the laptop has convinced us practically everything, from the keyboard to the trackpad to the convenience in tablet mode thanks to its small size. According to the source, the device should reuse the same display as the first generation model, i.e. a 15.6 “FHD 1080p 16: 9 , and it could be argued that at this point both the resolution and the format are becoming a bit anachronistic, with the increasing spread of 16:10 and even 3: 2.

The renders show that even the port layout shouldn’t change anything: a USB-C and a memory card reader on one side, two USB-Cs on the other . The audio jack is inevitable; power should always be handled by USB-C. At this point it is easy to expect that it will be more of a “spec bump”, as they say: in other words, the processor, motherboard and maybe other internal components should update.

Specifically, it is easy to expect 12th generation Intel Core Alder Lake chips: the Book Pro 360 is based on the 11th generation Intel Evo, and it seems difficult to foresee radical changes such as the inclusion of Ryzen chips in the lineup. Many believe it possible that we will know more on the occasion of MWC 2022 , but it is true that the Book Pro 360 was announced a little later, in late spring last year .
