With the Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G, a new mid-range smartphone with Snapdragon 778G is announced. The 5G-compatible cell phone could soon be available in Germany.

Only three months ago we presented you with the test of the Samsung Galaxy A52 5G and thus one of the mid-range smartphones introduced in March that Samsung has in its portfolio for this year. Now the next model appears on the horizon with the Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G (model name: SM-A528B / DS).

Information about the smartphone has already leaked in several places on the net, including the support page for the model SM-A528B / DS on the German Samsung website. We can deduce two things from this: The Galaxy A52s will definitely be available in Germany and the release is due in the next few weeks. Because such support pages are usually only switched live one month before a release.

We already have a price for the smartphone unofficially: 91mobiles refers to information from tech insider Ishan Agarwal, who assumes that the Galaxy A52s 5G will be offered for a starting price of 449 euros ($526 USD).

Snapdragon 778G on board

Because the A52s were presented to Geekbench and left their mark in the benchmark test, we were also able to find out some technical details. While the Galaxy A52 5G, which you can see in the video above, is equipped with a 750G, the 778G is now used. In addition, there will again be a choice between 6 and 8 GB of RAM or 128 and 256 GB of storage.

We don’t know much more about the technical differences to the A52, but when it comes to software, Samsung apparently relies on the combination of Android 11 and the in-house One UI 3.1 interface. Let’s wait and see when Samsung officially presents us with this new midrange planer, because then at the latest we will know to what extent the two 52 models differ from each other.
