Samsung started to release august security patch for the Galaxy A23 shortly after launching the 5G version of the device. The news was shared by several Russian users on Monday morning.
According to those who have already had access to the update, it brings firmware version A235FXXU1AVG2 and fixes about 50 vulnerabilities found in Android 12.
Furthermore, the changelog also cites the presence of performance fixes for the One UI 4.1 interface.
For now, the update is being released slowly and gradually in batches. Therefore, we emphasize that it may take a little longer for Europeian users to have access to it.
Anyway, the way to check availability is simple:
Settings > Software Update > Download and Install.

Samsung Galaxy A23 gets July 2022 security patch
line cell phones flagship Galaxy S22 aren’t the only ones to receive the July security patch for Android at this early stage of rollout. Samsung has started to release the patch for the Galaxy A23, a model recently launched in the Europeian market with a focus on cost-effectiveness.
New software update for Galaxy A23 comes with firmware version A235FXXU1AVF3. Although Samsung has not yet made the changelog full update, we hope that the novelty brings fixes for dozens of vulnerabilities related to the privacy and security of users.
The July security patch update is now available for Galaxy A23 users in Germany and Russia. As usual, the distribution will be done gradually. This means that other countries, including Europe, should receive it soon.
If you still haven’t received the notification to download and install the update via OTA, you can manually check the availability on your Galaxy A23. Just do the following path:
Settings > Software Update > Download and Install.

Samsung starts releasing May 2022 security patch for Galaxy A23
Launched at the end of March in Europe, the Galaxy A23 came to expand the South Korean entry-level device collection, offering interesting specifications and focused on cost-effectiveness.
As of today (19), it is one of the devices covered by the May 2022 security package.
The latest Galaxy A23 software update has version A235FXXU1AVE4 and it was released first in Germany and Russia, but it will reach more countries in the coming days.
The May 2022 security patch fixes dozens of privacy issues and security vulnerabilities found on the device, as well as fixing bugs and improving the stability of the phone.
If you want to see if the update is already available for you, go to “Settings”, “Software Update” and click “Download and Install”. You can also do the procedure by downloading the firmware here and installing it manually.
The phone comes standard with Android 12, One UI 4.0 and will receive at least two major updates to the Google operating system.
Yesterday (19), the Galaxy A22 received the update with Android 12 and One UI 4.1.
