Saints Row: System Requirements to Play on PC

System requirements to play Saints Row on PC

Production company Volition has released the system requirements to run Saints Row , a reboot of the open-world action series, on computers.

The studio had already released the minimum requirements needed in June, but now it has brought all the details for those who want to enjoy the best possible experience when playing Saints Row. Check the image below for details:

To run Saints Row at the recommended level (1080p and 60FPS), you’ll need an Intel Core i7-6700k processor, or an AMD Ryzen 5 1500X. Recommended video cards are GeForce GTX 1070 or AMD Radeon RX 5700, in addition to 16GB RAM.

The minimum requirements are more relaxed and allow you to play at 1080p resolution, but with a frame rate of 30FPS. For that, you need an Intel Core i3-3240 or AMD Ryzen 3 1200 chip, a GTX 970 or RX 480 video card and only 8GB of RAM.

Now, those looking to play ‘ultra’, with Saints Row running at 4K and 60 FPS, will need a high-end machine: the requirements listed include a Core i5 12600 or Ryzen 7 5800x, and GPUs like the GeForce 3080ti or the RX 6800XT.

In both cases, you need 50GB of free space to install the game, and at the recommended, high, and ultra levels, you need to install it on an SSD.

Saints Row launches August 23 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.

Digital Foundry also mentions that its own RTX 3080 and Core i7 7700K rig struggled to maintain 4K 60fps in the game’s open-world sections. However, this would not have been the game’s final build, and Volition may have improved the game’s overall performance since then.
