Rupture: Season 2 announces new cast; Look!

Last week, Apple TV+ made the recordings of the 2nd season of Break (Severance, in the original), still no premiere date on streaming. In addition, the 2022 series sensation announced the arrival of new names to compose its cast and released an image of the production sets.

Among the news are the lineups of Gwendoline Christie (game of Thrones), John Noble (fringe), Alia Shawkat (Arrested Development), Bob Balaban (The French Chronicle), Merritt Wever (The Walking Dead), Ólafur Darri Ólafsson (True Detective), Robby Benson (Beauty and the Beast) and newcomer Stefano Carranante, in roles yet to be revealed.

They are joined by Adam Scott, Britt Lower, Patricia Arquette, John Turturro, Zach Cherry, Jen Tullock, Dichen Lachman, Michael Chernus, Tramell Tillman and Christopher Walken.

Break follows a dystopian concept of everyday life in the Lumon office, where employees undergo surgery that divides their memories between work and personal lives; read our review. The series is created by Dan Erickson and has Ben Stiller directing the episodes.

In an official note shared by the collider, Stiller commented on the start of filming for Season 2. “We are excited and happy to be back on set for the exciting second chapter of Break. We couldn’t be more excited to see how much people enjoy our show.”
