ASUS should soon introduce a new variant of its gaming smartphone, the ROG Phone 6D. He and his brother ROG Phone 6D Ultimate had leaked images, showing off their design quite similar to models already released by ASUS a few weeks ago.
The informant Evan Blass brought, in partnership with the Indian website 91Mobiles, the renderings of the two new devices aimed at gaming. Interestingly, the images show cell phones essentially the same as those already presented by the brand in July of this year.
That is, its module with the three cameras, the design with the rear screen, as well as the front panel with slightly larger edges at the top and bottom where the stereo sound output is, are the same as the standard ROG Phone 6.
The only visible difference is in the color it will be sold in, with a gray tint instead of black and white.
Blass took the opportunity to compare the design of the two devices, where it is clear that they will effectively only have color as a differentiation between them.
What to expect from the ROG Phone 6D and ROG Phone 6D Ultimate?
Unfortunately, little has been said about each of them. What is only known is that they will support 65 W fast charging, in addition to swapping Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset for MediaTek’s Dimensity 9000 Plus, having a performance about 3% higher than the base model.
Considering that its design is practically the same, it is possible that the other specifications are also maintained. In this case, it is expected to bring a 6.8-inch screen with AMOLED technology, Full HD+ resolution and support for a 165 Hz refresh rate.
As for the cameras, there should be three on the rear: a 50 MP main, a 13 MP ultrawide and a 5 MP macro, supporting video recording in up to 8K at 24 fps. For selfies, it can have a 12 MP sensor that records in Full HD at 30 fps only. Finally, the battery should be 6,000 mAh.
Anyway, all this will only be confirmed on the 19th of September, which is the date on which the brand will hold an event for the presentation of the duo.
