It was announced a week ago 9to5Mac CAD-based renders of the iPhone 15 Pro model, and at the same time a photo of the USB-C connector of the aforementioned device was also posted on the Internet. Now images of the base model, the iPhone 15, have been published in the same way, and they show two major changes. On the one hand, the basic model also switches to a USB-C connector, as expected. On the other hand, the phone abandons the notch solution for placing the Face ID system, and instead adopts the dynamic island introduced in the 14 Pro models. The size of the phone’s case is said not to change, but the image diagonal will increase to 6.2 inches, which means the frame may be thinner.

THE 9to5Mac his source also confirms that the wide and ultra-wide cameras will remain, as well as the physical movement buttons. And the photo shared via Twitter also provides evidence that the frame will remain aluminum, only the Pro model can be made of titanium.

Earlier, there were reports based on production line rumors and industry analysis that suggested that Apple wants to make the base models of the 15 series attractive with a spectacular change, it seems that it will be the dynamic island and the capsule-shaped camera cutout. So far, there is no information on whether the basic models will get the iPhone Pro’s high-resolution display, and with it, for example, the always-alert display function.
