The Redmi Note 10 and Redmi Note 10 Pro remain to this day among the most impressive mobiles of the year thanks to their indecent price-performance ratio. Suffice to say that their successors are expected at the turn. The company has recently announced the Redmi 11 Pro release date.
As often, Xiaomi first presented its new devices in China, where they will be launched first before landing on the Old Continent.
A Redmi Note 11 Pro with flat edges
While it certainly isn’t ugly, the design of the Redmi phones deserved a little fresh paint. Of which act with this new range, which adopts a design with flat edges. We wonder where we saw that lately …?
Joking aside, the Redmi Note 11 Pro retains despite everything that made the excellence of its predecessor. It is equipped with a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel displaying Full HD + at a frequency of 120 Hz (360 Hz sampling). A thin cut is always required in order to integrate a 16-megapixel camera.
This year, Xiaomi is cheating on Qualcomm. Its two new smartphones will run on SoC MediaTek. The Pro model, in this case, displays a Dimensity 920. It is a chip engraved in 6 nm, obviously compatible 5G, provided with an octo-core CPU clocked at 2.5 GHz. In China, the smartphone will be launched in versions 6 + 128, 8 + 128 and 8 + 256 GB of RAM. Note that it is no longer possible to expand the storage with an SD card. The jack is, for its part, still required.
On the battery side, the Redmi Note 11 Pro has a generous 5,160 mAh battery, rechargeable at 67 W. The brand is also launching a Redmi Note 11 Pro + (probably exclusive to China, but we never know), which is distinguished by a recharges at 120 W (as on the Xiaomi 11T Pro), but with a lower capacity battery (4,500 mAh).
The camera block is getting bigger this year. The configuration is still based on a 108 megapixel wide-angle (1 / 1.52 “; ƒ / 1.9; 0.7 µm pixels), to which is added an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle and a 2-megapixel telemacro module (2x optical zoom).
The Redmi Note 11 specs
Small disappointment on the side of the Redmi Note 11: unlike the Redmi Note 10, it goes back to an LCD screen, to the detriment of the AMOLED. A decision, however, is offset by a refresh rate that climbs to 90 Hz. We also go on a diagonal of 6.6 inches, against 6.4 last year.
This model also lends allegiance to MediaTek by carrying a Dimensity 810 5G. Also equipped with 8 cores, its CPU emerges at 2.4 GHz. The Note 11 can be configured in 4 + 128, 6 + 128, 8 + 128 or 8 + 256 GB. The smartphone battery displays 5,000 mAh and can be recharged at 33 W.
Finally, the photo part will be provided by a 50 megapixel wide-angle and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle, of which we do not yet have the complete specifications. At the front, we stay on a 15-megapixel module. The SD port also disappears, but the jack remains.
