Redmi K50S and K50S Pro could be launched soon with SD 8 Plus Gen 1, reveals executive

The launch of the Redmi K50S line is getting closer, as Lu Weibing, General Manager of Redmi, has returned to talk about smartphones on his social networks.
In a post published this Thursday (21), the executive teased the launch of a new smartphone with a Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 processor within the Redmi family.
As much as he does not mention the Redmi K50S by name, this smartphone has already passed several certifications in China and everything indicates that the Official launch could happen during the month of August.
Codenamed “diting”, the Redmi K50S has already been found in the 3C database in China and it should come out of the box with a 5,000 mAh battery and fast charging that can reach up to 120W.
On the other hand, the Redmi K50S Pro should keep this capability and still add the presence of 200 MP main camera in the rear. The two smartphones can share the AMOLED LTPO screen that supports up to 120Hz rate.
Both should be sold with 5G connection, Android 12 ready to use and options that go up to 12 GB of RAM with 256 GB of internal storage.
Last but not least, there are still chances that the new Redmi K50S and K50S Pro will reach the global market as Xiaomi 12T and 12T Pro. However, as the brand does not comment on the matter, everything remains in the field of rumors.
