Redmi 10 5G arrives in Brazil with a salty price and 50 MP camera

Quietly, Xiaomi brought the Redmi 10 5G to Brazil, an entry-level model with support for a new mobile internet connection, 50 MP rear camera and MediaTek processor.

It is part of the brand’s simplest line, but has features seen in intermediate devices. On the front, it has a drop-shaped notch at the top of the display, with thinner sides and top edges, but with a slightly thicker bottom.

At the back, it has a rectangular module that houses its two rear cameras, along with an LED flash. The Redmi 10 5G arrives in grey, silver and green.

The Redmi 10 5G comes with a 6.58-inch Full HD+ resolution screen, IPS LCD technology and 90 Hz refresh rate support, which allows for more fluid menu navigation with smoother movements. This panel is protected by a glass with Gorilla Glass 3 technology.

Redmi 10 5G brings Dimensity 700 chip and 5,000 mAh battery

For the performance part, the company adopted a MediaTek Dimensity 700 chip, with eight cores, accompanied by 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage in the Brazilian variant. This storage can be expanded via microSD card.

Among other features is the Android 12 operating system, its 5,000 mAh capacity battery with support for 18 W charging, 5G, NFC, dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0. As for the cameras, there is a 50 MP main camera and a 2 MP one for macro photography at the rear, while selfies are taken by a 5 MP sensor.

The Redmi 10 5G is now available on Xiaomi’s official website in Brazil at the price of R$ 2,599, which can be paid in 12 installments without interest, or for R$ 2,391.99 in cash.
