For now, the Realme GT Neo5 (aka Realme GT3) is the fastest charging smartphone on the market. The 2023 competition is currently led by the GT Neo5 and GT3 together with the 240-watt SuperVOOC charging technology, since the latter differs only in name. The Lite version can save on charging speed, it is said that the 5500 mAh battery can be supplied with energy with “only” 100 watts of power. At the same time, it can be good news for potential buyers that the mobile phone has a bigger battery than the normal GT Neo5 and GT3.

Savings continue on the back, on the one hand, the LED light next to the cameras is removed, and on the other hand, the 50 MP Sony sensor in the main camera is replaced by a 64 MP OmniVision sensor. It can be accompanied by an 8 MP ultra-wide and a 2 MP auxiliary sensor. There will also be a change under the back panel, Qualcomm’s mid-range Snapdragon 7+ Gen 1 chip may be included in the Lite version, while the high-end model uses the 8+ Gen 1.

At the same time, it is unlikely that the Lite will save on the display. The AMOLED panel remains from the GT Neo5 (and GT3), including its 6.74” size, 144 Hz refresh rate and 1240 x 2772 pixel resolution, as well as the fingerprint scanner integrated into the display. The target market is believed to be India and the Far East, so far there is no indication that the device will appear in the West.
