A fan created for mobile gamers

With the introduction of the MagSafe RGB cooling fan on the iPhone 12 and 13, Apple has opened the door to the possibility for different manufacturers to create accessories that can be easily attached to their phones. While Apple had kept it simple, for example with a charger, Razer decided to be true to its trademark for its first MagSafe compatible accessory. Called Razer Phone Cooler Chroma, it is an RGB fan-created to cool your iPhone more easily during intense use, especially during a long gaming session.

In terms of technical specifications, the fan has 7 blades and a maximum rotation speed of 6,400 rpm. Despite everything, it will be quite discreet, with a sound profile of 30 dB. It doesn’t have a battery but comes with a USB-C cable to power it. And, most importantly, it comes with Razer Chroma RGB technology, which allows you to customize the colors of the twelve RGB LEDs integrated under the fan as you wish and enjoy dynamic lighting effects. To be able to adjust the various parameters, the ventilator is connected via Bluetooth.

A version with a clamp is available

Razer is explicitly targeting mobile gamers here, speaking of ” advanced cooling technology for enhanced gaming performance “. Suffice to say that if you are not a fan of greedy video games on the phone, the accessory is more than dispensable. If you’re still interested, but don’t have a MagSafe-enabled iPhone, Razer isn’t leaving you behind. An identical version, but which attaches with a clip, also exists, so that owners of older iPhones and players on Android can also enjoy it.
