Quentin Tarantino Denies Kanye West Talks About Django Unchained; understand!

Quentin Tarantino Responds to Kanye West’s Claims About The Movie Django Unchained. In an interview with Jimmy Kimmel, the director said that the story told by the rapper that he was the one who presented the idea that gave rise to the 2012 film is not true.
Earlier this week, the artist claimed that Tarantino and Jamie Foxx — the title’s protagonist — stole his concept from the Oscar-winning plot. The case would have occurred when they met to produce the music video for “Gold Digger”.
According to YE, the idea was to bring scenes of slavery to illustrate the 2005 song. “Isn’t it true that Kanye West created the concept for Django Unchained. At the time, he had an idea for a video where he was going to act as a slave while singing the song, which I thought was really funny.”
Kimmel soon asked, “A funny video about slavery?”. “It was meant to be ironic,” Tarantino clarified. Finally, Tarantino revealed that the conversation did not bear fruit and went in another direction, although Foxx participated in the clip. See the full interview:
Controversies surrounding Kanye West
It is not today that Kanye West becomes the target of criticism in the media. The rapper has made a series of controversial comments over the years and most recently released products with messages defended by white supremacists and delivered anti-Semitic lines.
Such a stance has already caused YE to have his social media accounts suspended several times. Now, he begins to face the consequences of his actions with the end of partnerships with big brands, such as Balenciaga, Adidas, Gap, Vogue, in addition to agencies that represented him.
In a statement, Adidas said it would “immediately cease production of Yeezy-branded products. [de Kanye West]. YE’s recent comments and actions have been unacceptable, hateful and dangerous, violating the company’s values regarding diversity and inclusion, as well as respect and fairness.”
