Power Rangers: Now and Forever wins 1st trailer with original cast; look!

Netflix released last Monday night (21) the first trailer of Power Rangers: Now and Foreverspecial in celebration of the franchise’s 30th anniversary.

To the delight of fans, the production will feature a reunion of original cast members, including David Yost (Billy, Blue Ranger) and Walter Emanuel Jones (Zack, Black Ranger). In the preview, we see the duo teaming up against the new version of the villain Rita Repulsa. Check out the trailer below:

In addition to the duo, actors Steve Cardenas, Karan Ashley, Johnny Yong Bosch and Catherine Sutherland, who played the second version of the red, yellow, black and pink rangers, respectively, will also be part of the cast. Amy Jo Johnson, who played the original Pink Ranger, will not be in the Netflix reunion.

According to the special’s synopsis, the “new adventure must bring the Rangers face to face with a familiar threat from the past. In the midst of a global crisis, they are called upon once again to be the heroes the world needs.”

Power Rangers: Now and Forever premieres April 19 on Netflix.
