Poco C50 appears in database and would be renamed version of Redmi A1 Plus

And one of the brand’s next launches for the Indian market will be the Poco C50, which should be nothing more than a renamed version of the already expected Redmi A1 Plus.

The Poco C50 was recently discovered by the xiaomi in the IMEI database with model number 220733SPI. This is the same code as the Redmi A1 and Redmi A1 Plus, both Xiaomi’s future entry phones for the global market expected with simple specifications and low price.
The only difference between Redmi A1 and A1 Plus is for the fingerprint reader exclusive to the “Plus” version. according to himself xiaomi“the Poco C50 will be a renamed version of the Redmi A1 Plus” and the Indian model could bring minor changes, including differences in camera.
The strong indication is for the codename “ICE” present in both the Poco C50 and the Redmi A1 Plus. If they share the same components, the devices must offer a MediaTek Helio A22 processor, simple chipset for entry-level cell phones and limited to 4G connectivity.
