The “family” of Fast & Furious will have in the next installment, the tenth, with one more member, but this time real, consanguineous and first degree, through the participation of the daughter of the late Paul Walker, meadow, in a cameo. Walker was the great co-star of the saga, that started very modestly, but already with commercial success, in 2001 playing police officer Brian O’Conner, alongside Vin Diesel as Dom Toretto, his antagonist, truck thief and street car racer.
However, O’Conner’s honesty together with the iron code of ethics and values around the Toretto family made the two eventually develop a great bond of friendship. And, as for the movies, after a dip in the franchise, when it was back in full swing in fast & furious 6 the tragic car accident of 2013 occurred that would end life by Paul Walker.
Deceased in real life but I live in the fiction of the saga, the memory of O’Conner / Walker has always been in some way present. And now that the spectacular final climax to the film series is in the offing, and in anticipation of the tenth anniversary of Paul’s death on November 30, those responsible have wanted Meadow Walker to be presenteven with a brief intervention that is also his debut on the big screen.
Without revealing any official image, Meadow He has published a photograph of the filming on his Instagram accountin which his character appears to be inside an airplane, and grateful and proud to be able to be part of her father’s legacy in this way. And it is that, in addition, she was practically born at the same time as fast & furious.
“The first ‘Fast’ came out when I was one year old!”comments the young woman in the text that accompanies the image. “I grew up on set watching my dad, Vin, Jordana, Michelle, Chris and more on the monitors. Thanks to my dad, I was born into the ‘Fast’ family. Now I can’t believe I get to be there too. With everyone I had seen and grown up with.”
Fast & Furious X directed by louis leterrierwho will also take the reins behind the cameras with which an end in style is expected in Fast & Furious XIat least as far as the story of Dom Toretto is concerned, has its world premiere this Friday May 12 in Rome. But, for it to reach theaters we will not have to wait much longer either. In Spain it will be Friday the 19th.
A tenth installment that also adds to his cinematographic “family”, but on the opposite side, as a villain, a Jason Momoa who will play Dante Reyes, the son of drug trafficker Hernán Reyes (Joaquim Almeida in fast & furious 5), and a film that, in the words of Letty, well, of her actress Michelle Rodriguez“it will leave us speechless” and with an irresistible desire to see Fast XI.
