OPPO is preparing to launch new smartphones in less than a week and more details related to the Reno 10 line keep coming up. After appearing in schematics and having early technical details, the mighty Reno 10 Pro Plus has leaked promotional materials confirming its final design in three color options and a distinctive triple camera set.
Images shared by trusted tipster Evan Blass show the OPPO Reno 10 Pro Plus in purple, gold and gray with the presence of a large triple camera module with two circular sensors and a rectangular one, confirming the presence of a periscope lens for high-zoom zoom .
Next to the periscope lens it is possible to read that the device is “equipped with MariSilicon”, OPPO’s proprietary chip series for improved image performance. The processors were announced at the end of 2021, but they didn’t last long, as Oppo confirmed the end of investment in the chip division a few days ago – with Xiaomi and DJI already interested in the division.
Despite this, the company must contain thousands of reserved processor units, ensuring use in some new models for the next few months. Eventually, we expect stock to run out and phones to start being advertised without the MariSilicon chip.
Other images revealed by Blass also detail the front panel of the device with a curved glass screen on the sides, a circular notch centralized at the top of the display and thin edges.
What to expect from Reno 10 Pro Plus?
The Reno 10 Pro Plus is expected as the most powerful model of the new generation of cell phones in the line, betting on a large 6.74-inch AMOLED screen with a rate of 120 Hz, Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 processor (predecessor to the current 8 Gen 2) with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
Its set of cameras can bet on a main lens with a 50 MP sensor, a periscope lens with 64 MP and an ultrawide lens with 8 MP, in addition to a front camera with 32 MP.
Other components include a 4,700mAh battery with 100W fast wired charging, under-display biometric reader, stereo speakers for immersive sound, and Android 13 with Oppo’s proprietary interface.
The OPPO Reno 10 line will be officially presented on May 24 and will also feature the Reno 10 with Snapdragon 778G chip and Reno 10 Pro with Dimensity 8200. More details about the devices should emerge in the coming days.
