OnePlus Fold: what do we know?
According to rumors leaked from a SmartPrix report, Pete Lau’s first foldable will be called OnePlus Open and not OnePlus Fold, as was assumed in the past. It will become official by the end of August, although we have read in the past that it would be announced in the first half of next month. Max Jambor, a well-known online tipster, also thought of suggesting the new date. Furthermore, other rumors suggest that it will be sold under the OPPO brand, at least for the local Chinese market (it will be called OPPO Find N3). In the rest of the world however, it will be OnePlus Open. At the rear it will present a 6.3-inch FullHD + AMOLED screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate, while entirely we will have a 7.8-inch AMOLED display with QuadHD + resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate. It will have a 48 Megapixel main sensor supported by a ultrawide and a 64 Mpx telephoto lens.

There will be the usual top-of-the-range Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, “maxed” at a clock frequency of 3.36 GHz, supported by 16 GB of RAM. There will be a 4805mAh battery with 67W fast charging and 50W wireless charging. The OxygenOS 13.1.1 skin based on Android 13, the fingerprint placed on the side frame, the maximum storage of 512 GB on UFS 4.0 memories will not be missing.
