OnePlus Ace Pro has a variant with 16 GB of RAM and confirmed thermal dissipation system

With a launch scheduled to take place next Wednesday (3), the OnePlus Ace Pro is highlighted again after the manufacturer released a new teaser that confirms information about the smartphone’s cooling system, a feature that should prevent the device from overheating even under stress during games or heavy tasks.

As the publication shows, the phone will bring a powerful eight-channel heat dissipation system — sort of “tubes” or “heatpipes” — with an area of 5177 mm that will be used to cool the chipset and other internal components, avoiding high temperatures not only in the aforementioned situations, but also during video recording.

This thermal dissipation technology is not present in any cell phone model, therefore, it reinforces the expectations of the Asian brand for the launch of its next flagship. In the global market, this phone should arrive with the name of ‘OnePlus 10T’, possibly keeping the internal hardware that equips the Asian variant.

According to official publications, the device will be announced with 16 GB of RAM (LPDDR5), a screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and, according to rumors, a large battery with a capacity of 4,800 mAh and fast charging with a power of 150W; Android 12 operating system and three rear cameras are also expected.

For now, there are no details on versions and prices, however, this information will be revealed by OnePlus next week during the Ace Pro launch event in China.

OnePlus Ace Pro gets release date and has details confirmed

In addition to introducing the OnePlus 10T and OxygenOS 13 on August 3, OnePlus surprised the public by confirming that should also use the event to launch the new OnePlus Ace Pro.

The conference should start at 19:00 (8:00 am in Brasília), and the broadcast to the global audience will be done via social networks.

As much as it may seem like a brand new smartphone, the OnePlus Ace Pro tends to just be the 10T rebranded for some markets. That’s because this smartphone can have the same design and features the Snadragon 8 Plus Gen 1 processor as a great highlight.

Rumors still point to the presence of a screen with a rate of 120 Hz, LPDDR5X RAM, fast charging up to 150W and Android 12 ready to use. The biggest difference from the 10T will be in the software: the Ace Pro should be sold with ColorOS.

For now, the price of the OnePlus Ace Pro remains a secret, but the pre-sale has already started in China and about 20,000 consumers have managed to reserve the device.

OnePlus Ace Pro may be in development with flagship chip and 16GB of RAM

Recently, it was revealed that the OnePlus 10T will be released August 3, alongside OxygenOS. It should come equipped with the latest from Qualcomm’s platform, the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1, but OnePlus may have another phone planned to launch soon.

According to an insider, she would work on a device called the OnePlus Ace Pro with a flagship chip and other attractive specs.

Digital Chat Station revealed that the Chinese manufacturer is developing the OnePlus Ace Pro with Qualcomm’s latest platform, 16GB of RAM and support for 150W fast charging. However, given the company’s history of naming the same device two different names for domestic and global launch, the OnePlus Ace Pro is likely to be the OnePlus 10T.

If this is correct, the OnePlus 10T would have 150W fast charging, something common in most devices from another brand, Realme. Having 16 GB of RAM would also be an interesting option, as it would put it in an exclusive group of cell phones that have such a powerful memory configuration.

However, it is worth noting that the OnePlus Ace Pro and the OnePlus 10T can be completely different devices. However, given the company’s history of working on only one flagship at a time and the problems in the supply chain, it is unlikely that the Chinese manufacturer will launch another high-end device in such a short period of time.

In the specifications, the OnePlus 10T should come with a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a biometric sensor under the screen. Under the hood, it will come equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 with 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. In terms of power, it can rely on a 4,800mAh battery unit with support for 150W fast charging.

In cameras, the device should come with a triple module at the rear with a 50-megapixel main sensor, another 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle and a 2-megapixel macro. For sefiles and video calls, a 16 megapixel front sensor.
