In parallel with the Sony Xperia 1 V smartphone, the Japanese giant unveils the new Sony Xperia 10V, a less performing and less expensive variant in search of a good place in the mid-range of the mobile telephony market. Let’s analyze the technical specifications together, look at the design and see the details to know about price and availability.
Sony Xperia 10V is official
The mobile device in question is officially the lightest in the world with 5,000 mAh battery, given that the exact weight is equal to 159 grams. There is no support for particularly fast charging but, according to Sony’s statements, it promises autonomy equal to 80% of the original one after three years of continuous daily use.
Coming to the specifications under the body, the beating heart is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chipset – therefore a slightly dated model – followed by 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of expandable storage via microSD.
Externally it is noted the 1080p OLED panel with a diagonal of 6.1 inches and a refresh rate set at 60Hz. Three rear camera sensors (48 MP main f / 1.8 with optical image stabilization; 8 MP telephoto f / 2.2; 8 MP ultra-wide angle f / 2.2) and an 8 megapixel front camera are firmly in the plastic body. The plastic body still ensures IP65/68 resistance to water and dust, and includes a 3.5mm audio jack with Hi-Res audio support.
Sony Xperia 10 V will arrive in Europe at mid June 2023 at the price of 449 eurosonline and at partner retailers.
