The Atelier, yet another podcast that promises to hold listeners in a chair, arrives this Wednesday (4) on all audio platforms and YouTube. The documentary series is more a journalist production Chico Felitti, responsible for The Woman from the Abandoned Housewhich gained great repercussions on the internet at the beginning of last year.
According to the official synopsis, the podcast should accompany the denunciation of former students of Ateliê do Centro, an arts school that has been active for over 20 years in downtown São Paulo.
“These students claim that the Ateliê is, in fact, a sect, in which they spent years suffering physical, psychological and financial abuse by a teacher they were forced to call ‘master’.”

In addition to the former students, dozens of other people were interviewed by the journalist and confirmed the reports. The founder of Ateliê, Rubens Espírito Santo, however, denies that he has committed crimes and claims that everything that happened inside the school was consensual and between adults.
