Now iPhone 14 is also manufactured in India

Due to the trade war between the US and China, Apple’s partners Foxconn, Pegatron and Wistron have chosen to move part of the production to India, something we have reported on before.

The latest news is that some copies of the iPhone 14 are now being manufactured at Foxconn’s factory in Sriperumbudur, according to a statement from Apple quoted by Techcrunch.

Since 2017, some iPhones have been manufactured in the country, but these have primarily been sold on the domestic market.

There are many indications that there will soon also be talk of exports to our part of the world, this as Foxconn has invested the equivalent of SEK 10 billion in expanding its factories in India.
