The novel is sold as a television version of Fifty Shades of grey, with a love triangle between the main character, her husband and her ex-boyfriend. The woman is not satisfied with the sex life she has with her husband, so she remembers in her diary the sexual adventures she had with her ex.

The dialogues are weak and the plot does not hold the viewer while he watches the drawn-out 8 episodes of the series. On Rotten Tomatoes, it has a 22% approval rating.

However, due to its sex appeal, the project had a good enough audience that a second season was produced, with a premiere scheduled for March 2.

6 – Between

A virus begins to kill all adults over the age of 21 in a small town called Pretty Lake. The city is taken over by young people who are living alone, without adult supervision.

The plot is beat, countless stories have already been created that are based on the classic of literature lord of the fliesby William Golding.

In addition, the cast is filled with terrible performances, which do not bring any emotion to anyone watching. All of this led to a 22% rating on Rotten.

5 – In Chess

Starring Catherine Tate, the actress plays five different characters on the show. This fact was even one of the reasons for the poor reception from critics.

One of her characters, Laura Wills, is the director of a women’s prison that shows the routine of the inmates in a mockumentary style. The format, which imitates a documentary, became famous after being used in comedies such as The Office It is modern family.

The project received only 20% of critics on Rotten Tomatoes, however, the public seemed to like it, giving it an 88% approval on the site. So far, the series is in limbo, with no information on whether or not it will be renewed.

4 – Disjointed

Stale and uninteresting jokes caused the comedy starring Kathy Bates to be canceled after just one season.

The actress plays Ruth, the owner of a store that sells medical marijuana. The sitcom shows the routine of the pro-cannabis activist fighting for her cause.

While audience reception was good, receiving an 88% overall on Rotten, critics only awarded the comedy a 19% approval rating.

Adult animation accompanies the coach of a high school basketball team as he tries to get the team up to the top divisions of competitions.

Ben Hopkins, the trainer, is known for his bad temper and for making offensive jokes without thinking about what he is saying. It was precisely this kind of humor, often nonsensical, that made the project not pass its first season.

The animated series did not go down well with critics, receiving only a 14% approval rating on Rotten. The public seems to have liked it a little more, but not enough: 54% was the rating given by the audience.

2 – Unsatiable

The teen dramedy has created controversy since its trailer. In it, it is shown that Patty will take revenge on her schoolmates after years of being bullied for being fat. Revenge comes from the moment the protagonist goes on a liquid diet and loses weight.

The series has suffered several accusations of fatphobia and “fat-shaming”, when someone is humiliated for their above average weight. The controversies took effect and made the series have a good number of viewers, being renewed for a second season.

The continuation again brought the same controversies, but this time, with low ratings. So it was cancelled. Its approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes is 11% from critics.

Surprisingly, the comedy received an 82% rating from the audience, launching a second season in 2017. Six years later, a new season is being produced by Schneider and is expected to premiere this year.

However, there has not yet been an official statement from Netflix regarding this matter.
