Nicki Aycox, Supernatural’s Meg Masters, dies at 47

The actress Nicki Aycox, best known for playing Meg Masters on Supernatural, died at the age of 47. The artist’s cause of death has not yet been disclosed, however, she had been fighting leukemia for a few years.


Susan Raab Ceklosky, who is Aycox’s sister-in-law, released the news of the death. “My beautiful, smart, fierce, incredibly talented and loving sister-in-law, Nicki Aycox Raab, passed away yesterday with my brother, Matt Raab, at her side. Nicki and Matt had a wonderful life together in California. She was definitely a fighter and everyone who knew her loved her,” she wrote on Facebook.

Eric Kripke, creator of Supernatural, also spoke on the subject. He said that Aycox died “very young”, that it was amazing to work with her. “I marvel at how she turned a simple word like ‘lackluster’ into something legendary,” he wrote.


Born in 1975 in Hennessey, Oklahoma (USA), Nicki Aycox debuted on American television in 1996 on the sitcom Weird Science🇧🇷 After that, he participated in productions such as USA High, Boy Meets World, The X-Files, CSI, The Twilight Zone, Cold Case and Criminal Minds🇧🇷

She gained more notoriety in 2006 when she played Meg Masters, a woman who has been possessed by a demon who takes on the name of its host. After exposure in the Sam and Dean series, the artist still worked on CSI: Miami, Dark Blue, The Glades🇧🇷 Fighting against time and The Girl on the Train🇧🇷
