Apple has released an update to the software in the smart speakers Homepod and Homepod Mini.

The focus of version 16.0 is on the usual bug and security fixes, so you’d be wise to install the update as soon as possible.

In this context, it can be mentioned that Apple has recently rolled out support for Siri voice recognition in Swedish, but this has still not been mentioned in the accompanying documentation.

Normally, updates for Homepod and Homepod Mini are installed automatically, but if you want to check which version is running, you can do so via the Home app on your iPhone or iPad. There you can also turn off the automatic update if desired.
