New Black Panther poster reveals who will take on the hero’s role

Wakanda is having a party, as Marvel has finally made it official who will take on the Black Panther mantle in upcoming productions. Needless to say, we are entering the field of spoilers, right? If you haven’t seen the movie yet or don’t want your surprise spoiled, it’s better to stop here. Otherwise, let’s proceed!


As much has been speculated by fans and experts around the world, yes, Shuri, played by Letitia Wright, will be responsible for wearing the costume that once belonged to T’Challa, by Chadwick Boseman, who unfortunately left us in 2020. Confirmation came through a poster recently published on Instagram by the company that owns the franchise, and it was simply amazing. See below!

Those who follow Shuri’s original stories as Black Panther know that there are crucial differences in relation to the adventures experienced by T’Challa, and that this abrupt change of characters only had to be done due to the passing of Chadwick Boseman. What fans now want to know, however, is how the stories will be adapted, given that the Black Panther version of Shuri in the MCU will have to incorporate elements more characteristic of T’Challa.
