Netflix, still no plan

A few weeks ago, a series of new ‘rules’ were announced in the platform’s official account with which the use of shared accounts would begin to be restricted. However, the company itself came out some time later to ensure that this content had been published by mistake, so for now they do not have a decided plan to deal with the situation.

The basis of the plan was that the account was going to have a main network, which allowed control to know which device was connected outside of that Wi-Fi. In this way the concept of home was created, since the idea of an account is that it be shared by those who live in the same house.

But in case the account is shared with someone else, the app would ask said device to connect at least once every 31 days to the main network. To this is added that would be added a Verification code and that it would be necessary to connect from a place outside the home. But all this was put on hold and it is not known what the control of shared accounts will be like, which Netflix hopes to resolve in 2023.
