This Wednesday (29), Netflix confirmed the renewal of the series The Night Agent for the second season. The original production of starring Gabriel Basso (from Era uma Vez um Sonho) premiered this year, more specifically on March 23rd.
Created by Shawn Ryan (from The Shield – Above the Law), the drama/action series accompanies Peter Sutherland, played by Basso, an FBI agent, who after answering a call, becomes involved in an espionage scheme in the White House.
The title debuted in first place on the platform’s TOP 10, which takes into account the most viewed series in the week between March 20th and 26th.
The company revealed that the second season’s chapters will be released in 2024. Remembering that all episodes of the first year are available for streaming on Netflix.
The announcement of the renewal of the series was made on the official page of the streaming platform.

In addition to Basso, the cast of The Night Agent includes Luciane Buchanan (from The New Adventures of the Monkey) in the role of Rose Larkin, Sarah Desjardins (from Riverdale) as Maddie Redfield, Fola Evans-Akingbola (from Siren: Legend of the Sirens ) playing Chelsea Arrington and Hong Chau (from The Whale) as Diane Farr.
