While the pricing of the phones just presented by Xiaomi could feel that they were deliberately shot below Samsung, the situation regarding the accessories is that the pencil was held a bit thickly. We also saw a marked price jump in relation to the scooter, and the new Watch S1 Pro was also not cheap, as its domestic price was HUF 150,000, and this is already in the same league as the Galaxy Watch 5 (HUF 125,000), Huawei Watch GT3 Pro (130 thousand HUF), or Garmin Venu 2 (170 thousand HUF). In Hungary, the buyer can rightly expect that the S1 Pro shows serious differences compared to the much cheaper S1.

Compared to this, the differences are marginal. Both watches have a stainless steel casing and a sapphire crystal glass. The S1 Pro comes with a slightly larger display (1.47 inches instead of 1.43 inches, which is almost a margin of error), along with offering 480 x 480 pixels instead of 466 x 466 pixels. The technology is still AMOLED. There are the same differences in the battery, the S1 has a 470 mAh battery, this increased to 500 mAh, which extended the 12-day average operating time to 14 days.

In terms of data communication, there is no difference, two-channel GPS, NFC (which can also be used for payments to a limited extent), WiFi and Bluetooth 5.2 are still available. The sensors are also almost the same, the Pro knows more in that it is also suitable for measuring skin temperature. The software running on the watches is exactly the same, which also means that the system is somewhat closed, and compared to competitors, it shows little compatibility, especially when it comes to exporting and analyzing fitness data. The Watch S1 is currently officially available here for HUF 80,000, compared to the S1 Pro’s price of HUF 150,000, which is practically incomprehensible.
