The legendary Nokia oversold its mobile business a few years ago, which ended with an ugly suit under the auspices of Microsoft, and then with the founding of HMD Global, independent of the two companies. From here on, the parent company Nokia focused on the telecommunications and B2B sector, and HMD licensed the Nokia logo and name to launch new Android phones on the market – these are not doing too well these days either.

The new logo will appear in several colors and variations on buildings and Nokia network devices, after all, this is the current focus of the Finnish company, following a new three-year plan. Pekka Lundmark CEO said: the focus is on the B2B sector, communication and cloud services, and the goal of the changing logo after 60 years is to make people no longer think of the Nokia name as phones. Which is funny because there are still Nokia push-buttons and smartphones that license the name, and the G22 was introduced with the old logo at the same MWC where the Finnish company introduced the new one.
