Motorola Razr 40 Ultra appears in store with images and probable specifications

After appearing in several leaked images in the last week, the Razr 40 Ultra was identified in ads for the Saudi store eXtra. In addition to reaffirming the look of the device, the content also reveals a probable technical sheet of the brand’s new top-of-the-line foldable.

The smartphone should feature an internal screen with pOLED technology, 6.9 inches and Full HD resolution of 1,080 x 2,600 pixels. Previous rumors still indicate that this panel may support a refresh rate of 165 Hz, with a flexible structure in a flip format.

The external screen is not mentioned in the store’s technical sheet, but it is likely that it is a 3-inch panel. The display should wrap around the two rear lenses, and extend into sections near the side.

It was also listed that the device should have a 32 MP main camera, combined with an 8 MP ultrawide camera – therefore, a set similar to what had already appeared in previous rumors.

In the front section, the retailer seems to have made some mistake, as it shows a dual set of 12+13 MP. In addition to the photos showing a cutout for just one front lens, previous news pointed to a 12 MP sensor for selfies.

A Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 processor should be the main performance component of the Razr 40 Ultra. In addition, it can have at least one version with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage.

The construction of the device should house a 3,800 mAh battery, with support for wireless and USB-C recharges. Reverse charging mode should also be available.

The device’s operating system will be Android 13, with adaptations aimed at optimizing the folding screen. Another highlight of the device should be the NFC, for wireless data transfer.

The launch of the Razr 40 line is already scheduled for June 1st, and the appearance of the Ultra model at Anatel indicates that it should arrive in Brazil soon. In addition to the most advanced version, Motorola must also present an intermediate option to democratize the folding market.
