Motorola Razr 40 is launched in India with a steep price before arriving in Brazil

The Motorola Razr 40 has not yet been presented in the Brazilian market, but it has just arrived in India. The launch of the device there serves as an indication of what price level you can expect here, even if nothing has been confirmed so far.

The device was presented for the official value of 59,999 Indian rupees, equivalent to approximately R$ 3,512 in direct conversion. At the same event, the Ultra variant was also released, for 89,999 rupees (~R$5,267).

The price of the most advanced model can serve as a comparison parameter between the amounts charged in India and Brazil. After all, here the Razr 40 Ultra had already been launched earlier for R$ 7,999.

Therefore, in this proportion, it is possible to imagine that the traditional Razr 40 would cost more than R$5,000, perhaps reaching R$6,000. That’s a higher price than some expected, especially as this is Motorola’s attempt to expand access to foldable devices.

Anyway, it is still not possible to say that the Razr 40 will actually come to Brazil with the estimated price. So far, a specific date for the presentation of the device has not been announced here, but it is already on the Motorola website in Brazil with confirmation of sale with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage in Vanilla (white), Sage Green (green) and Lilac (violet).

Motorola Razr 40 has mid-range processor and 144 Hz screen

The Motorola Razr 40 was introduced in early June as a new option in the company’s folding line. Unlike the Ultra model, the device has a set of intermediate specifications, and a more modest external screen.

Thus, the technical sheet of the device includes:

Canaltech has already brought the complete analysis of the Motorola Razr 40 Ultra, in which its price is considered one of the most complicated points of the device. On the other hand, aspects such as the display and performance were worthy of praise.
