After a rather good Edge 20 series, Motorola will persevere with their successors. And the Edge 30 Ultra is already impressive between its SoC Snapdragon 898, its screen OLED 144 Hz, and its 68 W recharge.
The Motorola Edge 30 Ultra will be a high-end smartphone. The media 91mobiles published renderings and technical specifications of the device, drawn from information obtained by OnLeaks.
The Snapdragon 898 confirmed
We immediately notice the photo block of an almost oval shape of the smartphone, original and much more elegant than the one that equipped the Motorola Edge 20 Ultra. The selfie sensor is integrated into a central punch and the borders around the screen are thin.
The panel is not curved and houses a fingerprint reader. The 6.6-inch OLED screen, HDR10 + compatible, displays Full HD + definition and a refresh rate of 144 Hz.
The Motorola Edge 30 Ultra should benefit from the SoC Snapdragon 898, thus guaranteeing it premium performance. We should know more about this new chip in December at the Snapdragon Tech Summit.
The Motorola Edge 30 Ultra would focus on autonomy and fast charging
The autonomy of the smartphone would be entrusted to a 5000 mAh battery. Motorola would have provided support for a fast wired charge of up to 68 W to quickly power this imposing battery. Memory configurations would vary between 8 or 12 GB of RAM and 128 or 256 GB of storage space.
The main photo sensor would be a 50 MP OmniVision OV50A with a pixel size of 1.0 microns. It is technically capable of capturing 8K videos at 30 frames per second and 4K at 90 frames per second. It would also be accompanied by a 50 MP Samsung JN150 ultra-wide-angle, and a 2 MP OmniVision OV20B1B depth sensor.
In terms of cameras, the back of the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra has a triple camera setup that includes a primary 50MP sensor, a 50MP secondary lens, and a third 2MP sensor. On the front, you can expect a 60-megapixel selfie camera for selfies.
