Last week it was announced that the launch of the shared iCloud Photo Library (Icloud Shared Photo Library) would be delayed, but that’s not the only feature missing from the sharp version of iOS 16 that will be released on Monday evening.

According to a compilation from Macrumors, the following features will be released first in future updates:

  • Smart gadget users will have to wait for an update to the Home app and support for the new Matter standard.
  • Game Center users will have to wait for support for Shareplay and integration with the Contacts app
  • Users of Apple’s Wallet app will have to wait for the ability to share security keys via Messages and Mail
  • Sports lovers have to wait for Live activities, something that can be used, among other things, to get sports results on the lock screen
  • The new Freeform app will also be delayed, as will easier installation of shortcuts on the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X.

Expect some of the features to be in IOS 16.1, which will be released in October, but some of them may take a while longer.
