After leak on eBay, prototype of Pixel 7 Pro appears in new real images

Although they were presented by Google last month, the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro models have not yet hit stores and have little information about the datasheet. However, last Monday (30) both emerged in a large leak released by a seller of eBay, an international e-commerce platform.

This time, new leaked photos fully reveal the design and construction of the Pro variant, a device that stands out for maintaining the horizontal bar for the three camera sensors. As the images reveal, the phone appears to have a curved screen similar to the Pixel 6 Pro, a predecessor made official in 2021 and which passed the TechMarkup test bench.

According to the leaked content, the listing of the supposed Pixel 7 Pro’s settings mention the device as “CUBOT Cheetah 2”, codename that may have been chosen by Google to try to throw informants off in the event of a leak of information regarding the flagship. from the company.

For now, there aren’t many details on availability and pricing for Google’s seventh-generation phones, however, the ad shared on eBay points to something around $510 (~R$2,450) for the most basic model.

But already? Google Pixel 7 prototype leaks on eBay before launch

The Google Pixel 7 and 7 Pro were presented during Google IO22 in early May, but more details about them would only be released in the third quarter of this year. However, a prototype of the Google Pixel 7 was leaked this weekend on eBay, revealing more about its specs and design.

As reported by a Reddit user, the Pixel 7 prototype was listed on eBay by an unofficial seller, but the device, which is no longer listed on the site, looks a lot like the one advertised by Google.

As you can see above, the Google Pixel 7 was listed for $510, approximately R$2,422 in direct conversion. Among the specifications listed in the sheet we have:

  • 6.4 inch AMOLED screen
  • Platform: Google Tensor octa-core
  • RAM: 8 GB
  • Storage: 128 GB
  • 12 MP camera
  • Dual main camera:
    • wide primary sensor
    • Ultra-wide secondary sensor
  • Battery with fast charging and wireless
  • Connectivity: Bluetooth, dual SIM 5G, WiFi, NFC, GPS, fingerprint sensor

Analyzing eBay’s profile, we notice that it has been present on the site since 2006 with some sales made, but it is still not possible to confirm the authenticity of the device.

Below you can see some images of the Google Pixel 7 prototype in black, which has a rear that appears to be made of glass with the same bar for the rear cameras of the Google Pixel 6 and an upper bar to accommodate the mmWave antenna.

However, one of the images shows something even more interesting: a reflection indicating that one of them was captured with the Google Pixel 7 Pro, where we noticed the same range for cameras with 3 sensors occupying an even greater space.

Unfortunately, the ad does not present the complete file with all the details of the Pixel 7, but this is certainly a huge leak for Google, after all, the Pixel 7 should only be released in a few months. In addition, it is worth remembering that the Android 13 source code has already revealed some details of the Pixel 7 and 7 Pro screens, which should be 90 Hz and 120 Hz respectively.
