Microsoft adds support for Apple’s Imessage

Microsoft has this week sent out a new preview version of Phone Link, a program that makes it possible to use your Windows 11 computer to make phone calls or send test messages.
The big news this time is support for the iPhone and Imessage, Apple’s free SMS alternative.
It is worth noting that all messages in Phone Link are grey, in other words it is not possible to tell the difference between normal SMS and Imessage. On an iPhone, the former are green, while the latter are blue.
At the time of writing, there is also no support for images, video clips and group chats. It is also not possible to take part in the history in its entirety, reports The Verge.
Hopefully these shortcomings will be fixed in future updates, after all it is an early preview version.
