It’s been a while since we had news about the biopic of Michael Jacksondirected by Antoine Fuqua (Training Day, The Protector) and produced by Graham King, who brought the story to life from Freddie Mercury with Bohemian Rhapsody.
However, yesterday (30), according to the website deadlineit was revealed that who will play the iconic Pop king will be none other than your own nephew, Jaafar Jackson, son of Jermaine Jackson (member of the Jackson 5). Who is Jaafar Jackson?
Jaafar Jackson has followed in his family’s artistic footsteps, singing and dancing since he was 12. He has also performed with original songs, in addition to partnering with famous names such as Sam Cooke and Marvin Gaye.
Despite his experience in the world of music, the 26-year-old artist has yet to work in the world of cinema. That is, the Michael Jackson biopic will mark the star’s nephew’s debut as an actor.
The biography promises to address Michael’s entire life, even the last years of the singer’s life as he struggled with accusations of pedophilia – something that haunted him until his untimely death in 2009, aged 50.
