mark zuckerbergthe popular and controversial CEO of Goal (before Facebook), has confirmed what has been an open secret for a long time. The manager used his opening speech at SXSW to announce that the company is considering adopting NFT’s on Instagram short term.

However, Mark Zuckerberg did not reveal too many details in his speech. Of course, It is known that the integration of non-fungible tokens is in development; though for now, the Instagram team is focusing on fixing some glitches along the way.

In mid-January this year, the Financial Times commented that Meta has plans related to NFT. According to his report, Facebook and Instagram will become “places where users will be able to create and sell these digital assets.” Now the next destination of one of them has been fixed.

In Zuckerberg’s aforementioned speech at SXSW, he mentioned the following: “We are working to bring NFTs to Instagram in the short term. Today I am not ready to announce exactly what it will be, but in the coming months you will have the possibility to bring some of your NFTs. And over time you will be able to lie within that environment.”
