Were you curious? We prepared a list of the 10 couples of anime villains so that you understand that love exists in the most bizarre places. From classic productions to the most current, it’s worth checking out!

10. Emperor Charles and Empress Marianne (Code Geass)

A troubled couple, to say the least, and which produced a completely traumatized child. Lelouch grew up wanting to avenge his mother’s death, only to find out later that she was alive and not as good as he remembered. A painful story from all sides.

9. Shinobu Sensui and Itsuki (Yu Yu Hakusho)

A love that lasts beyond death. Itsuki was always loyal to Sensui, his best friend, and supported him in all his endeavors. Even after the character’s death, Itsuki is still seen carrying his body to another dimension, always by his side.

8. Asimov and Katerina Solensan (Cowboy Bebop)

Asimov and Katherina appear in Cowboy Bebop in just the first episode, and they already have a magnificent entrance. We barely know the drug dealer couple and, in a short time, they already say goodbye to the anime. A short-lived but high-impact novel.

7. Zoisite and Kunzite (Sailor Moon)

Sailor Moon went through several types of censorship during its launch and the case of Zoisite and Kunzite, two male generals, in the original version, is an example of this.

During the English dub, Zoisite was treated as a woman to prevent an openly gay couple from being portrayed in the animation, but the relationship between the two, including the different ways of showing affection, makes them a highlight of the production.

6. Ladd Russo and Lua Klein (Baccano!)

A bizarre love story is that of the characters in the anime Baccano!. Ladd is obsessed with killing Lua, who in turn wants to be killed for her great love, showing how unbalanced and passionate they are in the same proportion.

5. Reo Niiboshi and Mabu Akutsu (Sarazanmai)

In a villainous couple, saying “I love you” in a conventional and romantic way can be a big mistake and Mabu learned that the hard way. In Sarazanmai, the two go through difficult times, as is to be expected when it comes to characters who aren’t good at dealing with feelings, but at the end of the anime they appear together — and, in a way, that’s what matters.

4. Squalo and Tiziano (JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure)

Tiziano already made it very clear that he would be shot to protect Squalo and that’s how villains show feelings. The two characters are completely devoted to each other and even their abilities work better together. They bring out the worst in themselves.

3. Jessie and James (Pokemon)

Jessie and James were part of many people’s childhood. Growing up watching Pokémon taught a lot about friendship in a cute way, but it also showed that evil doesn’t pay and gets tired, as we saw with the pair’s failed attempts. Despite this, they are extremely fun and indispensable to the anime.

2. Marco Ikusaba and Ai Mikami (Future Diary)

Partners since childhood, Marco and Ai’s relationship is very close, so much so that they participate in the survival game in Mirai Nikki as a single competitor. The diary they carry allows them to predict each other’s futures so they can continue to protect each other. In the end, they lose, but choose to die together, keeping their partnership until the end.

1. Light Yagami and Misa Amane (Death Note)

United by interest, Light and Misa form a completely problematic couple, of course, but also a gigantic and frightening force. Light sees Misa’s potential and wants to use her to his advantage, and the smiling girl, who seems lost in her own pursuits, is no fool.

She knows there is no romantic love between them, but she chooses to remain loyal to the only person left in her life since her family is no longer around. As with everything in Death Note, the relationship between the two is bizarre.
