Keanu Reeves Would Like To Be A Part Of The MCU As Ghost Rider

During an interview on Jimmy Kimmel’s show, Keanu Reeves talked about what it would be like to be in an MCU movie in his vision. The actor, who is working on pre-production of BRZRKR – Comics in which he is one of the writers – praised the way in which Marvel manages to develop so many projects and that his childhood dream would be to play the Ghost Rider.

“I think the way the Marvel movies are developed and what they are is really spectacular,” commented the actor. “It would be great to be a part of all that. The 10-year-old Reeves would love to play… I think he would probably like to be the Ghost Rider.”

Marvel hasn’t set a name for the character in the MCU yet, but Norman Reedus (The Walking Dead) and Ryan Gosling (Blade Runner 2049) have already expressed interest in the paper. In 2007, Nicolas Cage played Johnny Blaze — the first Phantom Rider in the comics — in a relatively successful adaptation. Cage has also admitted several times to being a fan of the character.

In 2005, Reeves starred in the adaptation of another comic: constantine. So far there is no information on Marvel’s plans for a Phantom Rider movie or series.
